[comp.text] Is there an addbibtex around somewhere?

ip@me.utoronto.ca (Bevis Ip) (11/30/89)

The subject said it all, an UNIX `addbib' lookalike maybe. Has any body
hacked one up yet?

Sorry, I'm only interested in freeby. I'm not desperate enough to hack one
up myself, but it's nice if someone already did. Thanks in advance.

I posted one such version to alt.sources awhile back. I am working on a
getting a man pages done for it before I inflict it out again :-). It
works by prompting users interactively for the appropriate fields (If
you have used mh, and used the prompter editor in it, it is akin to that
interface).

I should have it ready by this weekend. If you are interested, send me
a note and I'll send you a copy.

PS: What I have is a set of bibtools, to compile, and add
bibliographies, verify a whole set of bibfiles to ensure that no cite
keys conflict, and to show, or remove entries from bibliographies.
