I've a question concerning multiple citations using LaTeX. No, not of the form [Jones, 1986; Smith, 1985] but APA (American Psychological Association) style, where, for instance, the first citation of a reference in a paragraph can be done as (Jones, 1986) and subsequent citations, within the paragraph, done as (1986). I realize that the 'apalike' LaTeX style and corresponding BibTeX style produce what is close to APA-correct reference and bibliography styles, but this part has me stumped. I've looked through the LaTeX book and come up empty. IS THERE a way to cite ONE reference SEVERAL different ways within the same document? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -=- Stephen N.
