Due to product evolution, DigiGraphic Systems Corp. has a number
(~= 100) ASCII/ANSI RS232 keyboards available.
The keyboard itself was made by Digitran. Nice, but not too firm feel.
Full keyboard with Shift Lock (LED) and Caps Lock (LED), number pad
with [0-9,.+-] and ENTER, function keys labeled F1 - F9 (blue), EXIT (RED),
and HELP (green). Function keys are ANSI. Some in attractive walnut and
black plastic cabinets. Includes a beeper which sounds when the keyboard is
sent USASCII BEL on the RS232 Rxd. Needs +-12 (not regulated). Hardwired
to 1200bps.
Units with cabinets (about half) have all signals and voltages available
at an RJ11 jack on the back as follows: 1) Txd 2) Rxd 3) +12 4) -12 5) GND.
I like these units and wanted the company to keep them and make them
into integrated terminals, but they wouldn't bite. "Not our market."
All offers considered. Inquire of Kavian (ihnp4!umn-cs!digi-g!kavian).
