[comp.text] tgrind for C++, what is tfontedpr

peter@mit-amt.MEDIA.MIT.EDU (Peter Schroeder) (01/01/90)

Hello,
I am new to this group and don't know whether this has been asked before or
not...

I am using LaTeX to write my thesis and need to include some pages of code.
The code is C++.

First question: how do I include tgrind'ed stuff in my
LaTeX document (so that page numbers will be right etc.)?

How about an extended set of keywords? I looked at the
tgrind shell script on our VAX and it makes a call to tfontedpr. I do not
have documentation for it. Apparently it is the thing that I would need to
hack to get it to do the right thing to C++ code. Can it load tables of
keywords? Where can I find ready to compile (C code, I presume) sources
for it, in case these things are compiled in and I need to change them. Also,
how do you get that program to accept tabstops that are not multiples of 8?
I could run a sed script on the output and replace all 8's by 3's,
16's by 6's ... I use tabstops of 3 spaces in my program text. So,
when tgrinding it, it looks very ugly...

If you can help, please do!
Thank you!
