I want a mathematical symbol set including all the Greek characters to be in the (default) extra character set rather than IBM PC's set or ISO 8514(?) foreign language character sets. Seems like we need a window based terminal and a word-processer-like editor program to use the new TeX 3.0 and to see the typed-in characters in the {..}.tex file. Probably, the GNUemacs Version 20 will show those on X Windows machines or NeXTs. Am I right? Hugh
