I need to include some horizontally long tables in a document, so I need some way to rotate them so the text runs along the long edge of the paper. I've looked through the LATEX manual and can't find the instructions for how to do this. I've used straight TEX very little, so I don't know if there's a way to do it using TEX, but not LATEX. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could tell me if it's even possible to do this, and, if so, provide me with some pointers at finding the documentation describing HOW to do it. Thanks in advance. The dvi language does not cover rotation of text. Therefore your dvi driver will have to do the work under the instruction of \special commands. if you get either Rokicki's dvips or Clark's dvitops you will find details in the documentation of how to rotate tables if your target is a PostScript printer. -- Sebastian Rahtz S.Rahtz@uk.ac.soton.ecs (JANET) Computer Science S.Rahtz@ecs.soton.ac.uk (Bitnet) Southampton S09 5NH, UK S.Rahtz@sot-ecs.uucp (uucp)
