I used to work in a NeWS environment and though I like many features of X, I miss psview. I used this to preview both raw PostScript and psroff (since we use LaserWriters). xditview is ok, but does not really show me what my printed output will look like, especially page breaks. Is xtroff a PostScript previewer? Do people us ghostscript from GNU? Any pointers will be appreciated. -Bruce Bruce Cohen | UUCP: ..ucbvax!ucsfcgl!bic Computer Graphics Lab, S-926 | INTERNET: bic@cgl.ucsf.edu University of California | BITNET: bic@ucsfcgl San Francisco, CA 94143-0446 | VOICE: (415) 476-8291

DEC workstations have a PostScript previewer that's 'real Adobe PostScript". USW2.1 has a standalone previewer. UWS2.2 (just out) has Display PostScript in the X server, and the previewer uses that.
