In the near future I may have the opportunity to actually run SeeTeX (or is it xtex?). What hardware/server/display combination do you consider optimal? Some components of my ideal environment are: * The ability to see a whole page at a time * Good display resolution (100 dpi minimum) * Good correspondence with printed output * Fast screen updates and page transitions * The ability to handle just about any DVI file It's interesting to note how hardware has effected some design decisions in SeeTeX---for example, how using X fonts instead TeX fonts helps slow hardware like the Sun 3/60. So, what are your thoughts? If you could run SeeTeX on any existing X-terminal or workstation what would you choose? Many thanks, Anthony J. Starks
