Several years ago, I wrote some documents using DWB. I no longer recall which flavor of Unix it was on. In addition to the current DWB products for formatting, this system also had a program that gave readability scores for the document. Three different scales were reported; I remember the Kincaid and Flesch scales, but not the third. The program also reported on other objectively-measurable characteristics of the document. It seems like this program was named proof. I cannot find it on any of the systems I now have access to, nor do I find any mention of it in the DWB doc I have. Can anyone help me find this or similar software? Comments on its reliability are also welcome. Bill Gray PS. I am new to the net. If this post is misplaced, I apologize. PPS. My employer studiously ignores my opinions about everything.
