A friend of mine, alexhu@ima.ima.isc.com (I think), has just started working with UNIX and is examining the word processing options. There's been a lot of discussion about frame in this news group. Does anyone have a summary? Since he's running on Interactive's 386 based system he can either use Frame (or another UNIX word processor) or a PC word processor, so any relevant comparsions would be very helpful. If you have any summaries, please mail them to Alex and to me. If you have new opinions or comparisons to add, post them. I mailed some summaries and comparisons I've kept around comparing FrameMaker, Interleaf, Publisher and what-not. I'd be happy to forward them to anybody else who's interested, also. Contact me at the address in the header. And, of course, if you use Frame and haven't signed up for 'framers', you might want to.
