Contemporary page designs often call for ragged right (unjustified) body text. Both troff and Frame have trouble producing harmonious looking ragged right text. The principal problem is that certain words get stranded near the right margin, and would look better if placed on the following line. In this day and age, when DWB 3.1 costs $30k, TeX looks increasingly attractive because of its sophisticated filling and hyphenation algorithms.
