[comp.text] Style analysis

agn@cs.man.ac.uk (Alvaro Garcia Neto) (12/04/90)

Our unix system has two of pretty ancient utilities to analyze surface
characteristics of a document. They detect things like passive voice and parts
of speech, and calculate readability indexes, average words per phrase,
average word length, etc.

Does anyone know any archive sites with other utilities of this type? E-mail
if you will, I'll summarize.

  Many thanks,

'Alvaro.
