Hi there, In writing my thesis using Latex and using Bibtex to collate the references and do the houswork I find that for some references that are cited as @misc I run up against a global string limit of 300. I have adjusted the value in unsrt.bst to a larger value , reprocessed and still the same limit is reached. The entries are comments (long ones). As well a program that has quite a few authors names attached to it also meets the same fate. Does any one have a suggestion short of making the entries physically shorter. The bibliography is printed OK, just that the offending entries are truncated somewhat. thanks in advance, regards tony scott
