As I recall, early versions of the DWB package (many many years ago; I'm not even sure it was called that then) included a brief Bell Labs memo by Kernighan (?), explaining the ditroff design philosophy. This was back in the days when anything but C/A/T output seemed novel, and called for an explanation. Recent DWB distributions don't seem to include this old memo (at least 8 years old now, I'd imagine). Does anyone have a copy that could be E-mailed to me? Thanks! -- Robert S.
