[net.periphs] Want small, light, detached-keyboard terminal recommendations

jel@digi-g.UUCP (John Lind) (02/08/85)

	1) works well with VI(1) [character/line insert/delete, etc].
	2) small screen enclosure (9" screen would be great)
	3) Long keyboard cord, or non-physical keyboard link (Infra-Red
	   or whatever)
	4) reasonable cost (<$1000)

It is my intention to suspend the screen/interface/electronics portion above
my desk (on a shelf, probably) and have the keyboard tucked nearby for lap
or desktop use.

The VT220 (I'm using one right now) would meet all your listed
requirements but I can not recommend it because of its NASTY keyboard.

Hear that DEC? I hate your VT220 keyboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why couldn't you leave well enough (VT100) alone?

This is my opinion, I guess.

O.K. Phil calm down. I thought we agreed that any posting with more
than 2 !'s per line was for net.flame only.

P.S. Thought you were in Texas. Does this mean you're logging
