Can anyone tell where to find some information about OLE, the Object
Linking and Embedding standard being developed/promulgated by Microsoft,
Lotus et al.?

Well, there is a brief article on OLE in the latest issue of IEEE Spectrum,
apparently written by someone at Microsoft. I can't recall any specific
technical features from that piece, since I don't have my copy close at
hand and I don't recall it as being particularly detailed to begin with,
but it might provide other useful leads.

If you subscribe to MS's ONLINE electronic technical support service, I
believe you can find everything you'll need there.

You'll have to check with MS but I think ONLINE is US$750/year.

It's also on Compuserve. Since it was quite large, I didn't download
it. Can someone put it on cica.cica.indiana.edu?
