[comp.text] Troff -> Tex?

km@mathcs.emory.edu (Ken Mandelberg) (05/09/91)

Is there a reasonably robust Troff to Tex converter? I know about
the 1987 Kamal Al-Yahya, Stanford University software, but wonder
if there is something better.

Sorry to say, I haven't heard of it. But then, why would anyone want to
change? It's TeX to troff we need, right? ;-)

A fellow Christian Engel just posted something to comp.text.tex that he
describes as an enhanced version of Al-Yahya's 1987 code. He calls
it tr2latex 1.0.
