The place I work for has both a MassComp (500, soon to be upgraded) and an Adage image processor box (that unibus based 68000 system that used to be Ikonas). And we want to use them together (The Adage is useless as is...). It seems there's two methods to do this... 1) Parallel interface on the MassComp and on the Adage. This will be slow but has the advantage of being straightforward. 2) Some sort of Unibus to Multibus adapter to make the Adage appear in the address space of the MassComp. This has many speed advantages but should be rather complicated. We've heard of a company (Dimensional Medicine) which did 2.
