From the Spring 1982 issue of "The Peter Schickele Rag" (5 issues for $5 from P.O. Box 325, Woodstock, N.Y. 12498): "Some things never change, but most things do. The P.D.Q. Bach touring season falls in the latter category; it's going to be broken up a bit in the future, mainly because we've had it with driving a 32-foot motor home around in February, and we are moving the Intimate P.D.Q. Bach tour to a less weatherful time of year Here are the dates for the Fall of 1982, but remember to check things out; concerts sometimes pop up or drop out after press time Life, fortunately, is subject to change without notice." On July 17, 1982, they will present an all-Schickele chamber music program, on which I will do some playing and conducting, and which will include a couple of premieres; on July 18, it'll be just me and a piano, in a program of my folkpop or cabaret or whatever-you-want-to- call-them songs; and the following weekend I'll be narrating Stravinsky's L'HISTOIRE DU SOLDAT. Hot damn! If you might be around there then and would like information, write to Chamber Music Northwest, P.O. Box 751, Portland, Oregon." --Nomi Harris rabbit!research!nomi *There has already been a change: this concert will be held at the Madison Jr. School Auditorium.
