[net.periphs] CDC Disk Drives for DEC Systems

larry@kitty.UUCP (Larry Lippman) (08/08/86)

	Can anyone tell me if the CDC Model ``MMD'' disk drive is (or was)
a clone for any DEC drives (like RL01, RL02, etc.)? If so, is it also plug
compatible with the DEC controllers?
	I realize that the above CDC model may no longer be manufactured;
however, I need to put a system together using some older spare parts, and
have the CDC drives available to me.
	Thanks for any help.

we have several that appear to be the same 'MMD' drives which are 80 Mbytes
drives.....they also have a relative which is roughly 160 Mbytes and they
both run through emulex SC21/?? controllers emulated RM02's and RM03's....
