Name of site: sask Contact: Derek Andrew utah-cs!sask!derek Academic Computing Services University of Saskatchewan Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada S7N 0W0 306-343-2638 This node is shared by the University Computer Center and the Computer Science department. Both depts run UNIX(tm) and they co-exist in relative (though not absolute) harmony. We exchange news with the Saskatchewan Linear Accelerator (sask!slinac). When the net map went up on the screen at the winter meeting in Santa Monica there was a line going off into the wilderness of the Great White North. I heard some speculation in nearby seats that this might be Calgary. Wrong! We are easily overlooked... (One of our two "national" airlines didn't land a plane in this province between 1957 and 1982) ...but really we have enough population in this province to make a good size city (if you count gophers). We promise to ship 1 metric ton of snow (freeze-dried) to any site which can prove it has longer winters than us.
