Does anyone know of any current or planned ports of either 4.2 or 4.3
to the 386 architecture?

The latest Sequent multiprocessor boxes will be based on this architecture, but Sequent are keeping it quiet. Presumably they don't want customers of their NS32032 based systems (like us) to find out. The Sequent OS - DYNIX - is primarily BSD with a few SysV add-ons. It has the notion of dual universe, but I don't think it is as well developed as Pyramid's. Jim
