[comp.unix.wizards] Bad Directory Problem Solved

Thanks for the many responses to my directory dilemma 
( where the directory entry '.' had somehow changed names to 'old'. )

I used the first advice I received which was to use 'clri' on
the node and then do a fsck to pick up the still referenced but
unallocated inode.
