When I crank up ftp from our VMS system (running the wollongonkulator TCP/IP package) it informs me that it is using 8 bit bytes. Obviously whoever wrote this package thinks that a byte isn't necessarily 8 bits. Mike Marshall hubcap@hubcap.clemson.edu ...!hubcap!hubcap
