As far as I know, there are two implementations of NFS for Vaxen running 4.3BSD. One is from Mt. Xinu (costs around $3K for a University). The other one (and I only know of this one as a ``rumor") is supposedly from somewhere in Wisonsin. Anyone who knows anything about the latter? I'm looking for an NFS implementation for a couple of ageing Vax-11/78{0,5}'s and if there's a half-way reasonable implementation out there that's cheaper than the one from Mt. Xinu, I'd like to hear about it. I don't really object to Mt. Xinu's price; i.e., I think it's quite reasonable, but I don't have much money to spend and I'll only need it for a year or so until the Vaxen get retired. Any information is appreciated. ---torben -- Torben N. Nielsen,Department of ICS,2565 The Mall,Honolulu, HI 96822 torben@uhmanoa.ics.hawaii.edu

Ultrix 2.0 has NFS (but not NFS file locking).
