May I propose that discussions about the Free Software Foundation, GNU, GNU vs. Minix, and other proposed replacements for the system we all know and love, be carried on exclusively in comp.os.misc? comp.arch is definitely the wrong group, and even unix.wizards doesn't seem all that appropriate. Thanks. -- - Joe Buck jbuck@epimass.epi.com {uunet,ucbvax,sun,decwrl,<smart-site>}!epimass.epi.com!jbuck Old arpa mailers: jbuck%epimass.epi.com@uunet.uu.net

Thanks. I'd like to remind the USENET recipients of this list that there are some people receiving it through the ARPANET UNIX-WIZARDS mailing list who don't have access to comp.os.misc, comp.arch, et cetera. If this discussion moves out of unix.wizards I, and others, will be unable to follow it.
