Looks like this message didn't get out last time ...
We've been having problems with 'rwhod' on our Sun's. Things were
fine on all our machines until we brought up Yellow Pages. Some of our
machines are on Yellow Pages and some are not.
The problem is that the machines on YP don't show up in the 'rwhod's'
list (or ruptime, etc.). Looks like the broadcast part of rwhod on the
YP machines is messed up, but the listening end is OK, because all the
non-YP machines show up on the rwho list on ALL machines. Also, we have
some DG's on the net, on YP, which don't have any problems. Finally, if
we take a Sun off YP, the rwhod on it is back working fine. It might be
a problem with an RPC port conflict between YP and Rwhod, but we haven't
been able to fix it.
Any solutions?
