Does anyone have any good program that do work with those imfamous header files /usr/include/sys/user.h, /usr/include/sys/proc.h, etc.. Recently Michael Ditto (ford@crash.CTS.COM) posted his implementation of fuser(1m). That gave lots of explicit hints on doing things? If anyone else did something similar, or has a better way please let the rest of us who are left in the dark when it comes to /unix and /dev/kmem. How do you find the symbol-names in /unix you need in the 1st place? sdb /unix ? :-)A I would like to write a program that given a user(process) it will list all the open file descriptors/filenames used by that process. Similar to the SHOW DEV/FILES under VAX/VMS. -Lenny -- Lenny Tropiano ...seismo!uunet!godfre!quincy!lenny -or- American LP Systems, Inc. ...cmcl2!phri!gor!helm!quincy!lenny -or- 1777-18 Veterans Memorial Hwy. ...mtune!quincy!lenny -or Islandia, New York 11722 +1 516-582-5525 ...ihnp4!icus!quincy!lenny
