[comp.unix.wizards] 4.3 BSD help system - where are the missing files

psv@draken.nada.kth.se (Peter Svanberg) (10/28/87)

Could perhaps some of you wizards help me with this?
comp.sources.wanted couldn't.

Where are the missing files in the help system in 4.3 BSD?

We have started looking at the help system which comes with the
BSD 4.3 distribution. It seems nice and we have already begun
making texts for it (in Swedish).

With the distribution just the following files were on
/usr/src/new/help/:

    -rw-r--r--  1 psv      staff         485 Sep 29 18:40 README
    -rw-r--r--  1 psv      staff       39454 Sep 25 15:05 help.c
    -r--r--r--  1 psv      staff         614 Sep 23 02:14 Makefile
    -r--r--r--  1 psv      staff        9606 Sep 23 02:14 help.n

...and tmac.ayday was in its place. BUT, no administrative script
files, no examples, no specification of what should be on the
config/ directory etc. Do anyone know how I can get those?
This is the header of my help.c:

    /* Copyright (c) 1983 Regents of the University of California */

    #ifndef lint
    static char sccsid[] = "@(#)help.c    1.2   (Berkeley)       8/14/85";
    #endif not lint

Is there a newer version? Tell me! But, do *NOT* send me anything
right away, just send me a line if you CAN send it, and I'll ask for it.
(Otherwise I may drown in files...)

Thanks!
