[comp.unix.wizards] Logout from C-Shell hangs ACP port on P/55

jfh@killer.UUCP (The Beach Bum) (11/12/87)

This is the deal -

We just picked up an upgrade from a P/35 to a P/55. Part of that was
a new ACP board. Logging out from the Bourne shell causes no problems,
however, logging out from the C shell hangs up the terminal port. The
port has to be disabled, and the termio modes forcibly reset using a
nasty little program written just for this purpose. THEN - the port
is unhung. The modes of the port while hung are quite normal - except
even with getty running, the baud rate is still 0, which I guess is done
by the C shell when it logs out.

HELP!

- John.
