We are interested in the capability of recording/saving user actions while running a program. These actions should include keyboard input, mouse clicks, mouse movements. Later we would somehow run the software so that the saved user actions could be reproduced as they happened. We intend to use this method for testing software throughtout the development phase. The software to be tested is highly user-interactive. It would be nice to run the software once manually, save the user inputs, and reproduce them at a later date. This would relieve the test engineer of tedious work in testing programs over and over again. From talking to people here at the Lab the concept is known as journal and playback. I also hear that the Amiga has this capability. Any help/information would be very welcome. Thanks. ========================================================================= Carlos Carrion, MS 301-250D, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena CA 91109 .. cit-vax!elroy!jpl-devvax!jplpro!carlos =========================================================================
