Does anyone out there know how to Full Duplex on a single AF_INET Stream Socket? I already know how to set up two-way communications on two one-way sockets between a client and a server but would like to set up two-way communications using only one socket. Motivation for this is to save on resources. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your advice. Don Collett jpdres14@usl-pc.USL ut-sally!usl-pc!jpdres14

Save for pipes, *all* sockets are full duplex until shut down via shutdown(). -- In-Real-Life: Chris Torek, Univ of MD Comp Sci Dept (+1 301 454 7690) Domain: chris@mimsy.umd.edu Path: uunet!mimsy!chris
