Name of site.

	usceast

What the site is all about.

"usceast" is the department of computer science at the University
of South Carolina. We run 4.2bsd on a VAX 11/780. The VAX is
largely a faculty machine, though some graduate students doing
specialized work do have accounts, as do the 2 graduate systems
	programmer/administrators.

The department also runs a PDP 11/44 under V7m where most of
the graduate students reside. Extending USNET to this machine
	is a dim future possibility.

(what kind of link, who the neighbor(s) are, what frequency
of connection, whether or not you'll pass outside mail along).

	cs44	- our PDP 11/44 (internal only)
ncrcae	- our link to world (uucp, 1200 baud, daily)

Willingness (or lack thereof) to connect to new sites that
want to join usenet. If you run uucp, tell if new sites can
call you, if you will poll them, what your policy is.
If on the arpanet, are you willing to forward news on to new
sites by establishing an arpanet usenet connection?

We are willing to feed local (ie : not long distance)
sites into the usenet. We can poll or be polled (though
currently the later has a higher success rate).
