Is there any other way to find out how many inode (total) there are in a filesystem than reading the superblock and then do: number of cylinder groups * number of inodes per group I run SunOS 3.2 (BSD type) on a Sun3. I'm trying to estimate how large a dump(8) will be, before I run it and dump(8) will write 2 bitmaps of indodes. Thanks in advance.
