[ EAT ME ] I am having a problem with window (4.3Bsd) and a vt102 terminal emulator on one of those MC68000 atari's. The perplexion (word?) is that it works without a flaw with jove, vi, systat, and that sort of thing, but when window is called up it (1) changes to an alternate character set and (2) totally botches cursor addresses. Does window use the termcap (or curses?) library in a way different than most programs do, causing it to blow it? Perhaps it uses the wrong initialization string, or something like that ... window seems to work properly on another friend's vt100 emulator, this one on a Mac, but I'm not convinced that on the Atari the problem is the terminal emulator, and want to pick the brains of anybody who knows why this could be, from the viewpoint of 'window'. I hope I phrased the question properly - my apologies if I did not. Please reply via E-Mail, as I don't regularly read this group. Thank you. Christopher E.
