[comp.unix.wizards] Request for info on VT100 terminal emulation through Unix System V

MURRAY@wharton.upenn.edu (John Murray) (03/25/88)

Wizards:

	We are looking for software to do VT100 terminal emulation from an AT&T
510 terminal through an AT&T 3b2 system (running Unix System V and TCP/IP) to
a VAX. This is the path as I understand it (although this may not be exactly
right - I'm new to Unix and this particular system):

AT&T 510  -->  AT&T 3b2 (UUCP  -->  Telnet running on 3b2)  -->  VAX

Does anyone know of any software that will run on the 3b2 that will let us
do VT100 emulation? Thanks for all suggestions.

John

The 510 has a cartridge that provides vt100 PF key's,
vt100 terminal emulation is built-in.
