Anyone out there currently running (or ran in the recent past) Amdahl's UTS (a version of UNIX for IBM plug-compatible 370 systems)? What was performance like for interactive users? How many could be supported on a 580? Is it a "real" UNIX? If one runs it native, what communications to other systems are supported (non-TCP/IP, i.e., RJE, PVM, RSCS, etc.)? Any information would be greatly appreciated, please respond to me directly, will summarize for net, if there is interest.
