Hi. This is my first posting of many to come. I've got a problem with a 386 box running Interactive SYS5 with two Newberry 384mb drives (external) and 16mb of ram. Problem: When I run shutdown with no parameters, everything comes down just fine. Screen says: Press any key to reboot I do. Then all the appropiate messages are displayed, It starts mounting the file systems (/usr, /u from drive one), moves the heads on drive two and dies. The only to wake it up is to push the reset button. At this time, since it didn't shutdown properly this time, it does a file system check on root, /usr, and /u, mounts the filesystems on the second disk, and comes up. Is this perhaps a controller problem or what???? Thanks in advance for any help you have to offer. @@@@@ @ @ @ ARDOZ @@@@@@@@ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- zardoz@twg-ap -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
