[comp.unix.wizards] I Need an idle time checker/trap PLease help

I need a little help.
For various reasons I need to check (periodically) idle time
and if it is more than x kill the shell for that user.

I am running Ultrix-32 on DEC VS2000 s, and 4.2(Sort of) on some
Sun 2/170 s.

PLease reply by E-Mail (I rarely read the group), If there is enough interest I will post a short summary.
