[comp.unix.wizards] Too many definitions?

I am trying to compile CScheme on SYS V machine (3B15).  How can I enlarge the
symbol table of C preprocessor?  (It gave me error message --- too many 
definitions, #define)

I know how to do it in BSD4.2 but SYS V won't take the -Wp option.

Does anybody know a quick solution? Thanks in advance.
