What the site is all about.
Vax 11/750 running BSD 4.2. Used by the recently formed
"Computer Vision and Graphics Laboratory" (CVGL).
Will do Image Processing, research with "Associative Networks"
programming in C, Pascal and (Franz) Lisp.
Connected will be a "VICOM 1800 Digital Image Processor", for
the moment running standalone VersaDos (arggh!) on a 68000
(where thinking of getting Unix SysV from a french comapny).
Also a FPS 5205 Array Processor will be connected with help from
APUNIX.
We have an ethernet with: ttds, duvan (Vax 750s 4.2), sirius, vega
capella (sun 120s) and Cream, Cheese and Milk (Xerox 1108 Dandelions).
Soon our DEC-2065 will be connected. Later some VMS-vaxen probably
using TWG-TCP, will connect.
