After two years of trying (although not as hard as we might have), we are finally on the net! Thanks to Scott at cdp for our first uucp mail connection, Rick Kiessig at idi for allowing the broadcast of our plea for a feed, and last but by no means least Jerry Aguirre of Olivetti ATC for PROVIDING THE FEED!!!!!!! I am the contact here, and am learning a little with Jerry's patient tutelage. If there is anyone else in the immediate (San Francisco Bay Area - Mt. View/Sunnyvale) area who is willing to provide another feed, please let me know. Also, we have (at the moment) plenty of disk space and several modems and would probably be willing to be a feed for someone else. I have seen the pathalias program and its database. I would like to obtain the current versions. I would also like to know how to get our information into that system. Can anyone out there help? Once again, thanks to those who helped, advised, and provided. It promises to be worth the wait.
