Hello. Has anyone come up with a reasonable way of dealing with terminals having "the magic cookie glitch" (especially the WYSE-50) in combination with System V curses (on an NCR tower)? I noticed an xmc entry in the terminfo entry, but... it doesn't really appear to be helping anything. Please send E-Mail, and I'll summarize if there's interest. Your program has to check for xmc and make sure it is real careful about where it uses highlights. -- Peter da Silva, Xenix Support, Ferranti International Controls Corporation.
