Kongsberg Vaapenfabrikk, Company R & D.
We are the largest Unix site in the North Europe.
Activities include embedded systems, for example control
systems for oil rigs, etc. Kvport is our local gateway
to EUNET. We have a local area net, Ungermann-Bass
Net/One, and have made uucp understand virtual
connections (i.e. we have a sIII source license).
Non-Unix machines in the Net are Nord100, our own KS500
(68000) machines, plus a variety of smaller equipment. We
even have 2 Vaxes with VMS!
