Does anybody know if there is a program that would take a file containing standard plot data as produced by the plot(3x) routines (the ones you print as "lpr -g") and generate a postscript file? Thanks, Dan.

In the commercial software world, I believe both TranScript from Adobe, and DEVPS from Pipeline Associates will do the trick. In the free software world, there is a package called plot2ps written by Carey Richard Murphey (rich@rice.edu). I believe it is distributed by the Free Software Foundation. Enjoy! Frank
