There's a particularly annoying tcsh bug (race condition?) that
appeared in SunOS 4, where pipelined jobs randomly hang

It has been suggested that compiling with -Dvfork=fork makes the
problem less common, but doesn't fix the real problem.
As since this code is doubtlessly really nasty, I don't relish the
task facing me. So, Has anyone already fixed it?

The one I notice all the time is when I alias h to be "history | more". It only takes 3 or 4 invokations of h to get the mysterious Stopped (tty output) message...
