They have a 5 hour jazz show on Sunday afternoon from 12 to 5 p.m. If your living within commuting distance of Indianapolis you might want to check out the Hummingbird and a place called the Jazz Aloft. It's been a while since I was there but hopefully they are still around. The Hummingbird has a mixture of music but occasionally has exceptional regional jazz acts. The Park West in Chicago is an excellent club but also has an assortment of music. This Sunday (Oct. 24) they are having Jeff Lorber Fusion. If you're in the area I highly recommend checking it out. I have heard several cuts from the Gil Scott Heron album. I don't recall the name of it offhand but it is definately an album that deals out a health dose of reality.
