This is a repost. I don't think this message got out to anyone except
our own sites. So here it is again.
California State University, Northridge is now on Usenet. We receive
a partial newsfeed from psivax and are currently evaluating resource
requirements for netnews. The Computer Science Department (cs1)
receives its news from the Computer Center "csun" machine. Currently we are
running version 2.10.2 of the "B" version of Usenet, and plan to upgrade
to 2.10.3. In the future, we hope to news feed other CSU campuses and
have a "csu" local topic for intra-campus news. We can probably feed
one or two other uucp sites if they're willing to call us.
