Follow-on to my previous question:

Portable PC's now can use Xircom adapter (allegedly) to do PC-NFS and good
things like that. Same problem: how do you deal with the fact that people may
want to plug them into various different subnets ?

Right now, my department has 5 luggable/laptop PC's. Should we equip them with
Ethernet, do I have to give up 5 addresses on each subnet, to cover all possibilities ?
That chews up addresses in a hurry !
