It is Springer-Verlag, ISBN 0-387-97247-1.

However...

The title is a lie. It is not a book about the "art of distributed
applications", but about how to write applications using older versions
of Sun RPC API. It is completely oriented towards that interface: there
is no general discussion of distributed applications, theory, communications,
IPC, other RPC mechanisms, etc.

Essentially, this book is just a manual for Sun RPC. Unless you have money
to burn, use the Sun manual "Network Programming Guide". At least that
book covers TLI, sockets as well as RPC.

regards,
fletcher
